By Light Rail & Subway via the Metro-North Railroad Line express out of Grand Central Station:

The Bronxville Station is on the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line out of Grand Central Terminal in NYC. The train runs every half-hour between 6:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. weekdays, and hourly on weekends to Bronxville. Once you arrive, Concordia's campus is easily accessible by cab or foot. Smart Tip: It's cheaper to purchase round-trip tickets at the station than purchase rides individually. The Metro-North number is: 800.638.7646. Before traveling, check with the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line to determine actual departure and arrival times. A cab ride from the train station to campus is approximately $5. If walking, travel east on Pondfield Road through downtown Bronxville. At Tanglewylde Road, turn left and proceed to campus. (Watch street signs carefully as Tanglewylde makes several sharp turns.) Concordia College is located at the intersection of Tanglewylde and White Plains Road, approximately a 20 minute walk. Train travelers - let us know when you are arriving and we'll pick you up at the Bronxville train station.

By Subway from NYC:

Take any subway that stops at Grand Central Station. From there, connect with the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line to Bronxville. They run regularly. It's a 25 minute ride. Or, besides catching the subway directly to Grand Central, take the #2 train to 241st Street. Transfer to Westchester County Bee-Line bus #42 (towards New Rochelle) . Transfer to Bee-Line bus #40 (towards White Plains), the #40 bus stops directly in front of Concordia College. Or, take the #5 train to Dyer Avenue. Transfer to the Westchester County Bee-Line or bus #55 (towards Yonkers). Transfer to Bee-Line bus #40 (towards White Plains), the #40 bus stops directly in front of Concordia College.

From Penn Station (34th Street), cab it to Grand Central Station or plan on a good 12-block (about a mile) city walk across town. Or, from Penn Station, take the 1, 2, or 3 subway train (uptown) to the next station, Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the subway "S" train "shuttle" to Grand Central Station. Figure 20 minutes to get from Penn Station to Grand Central. Exit at Grand Central and connect with the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line to Bronxville. They run regularly. It's a 25 minute ride. Let us know when you are arriving and we'll pick you up at the Bronxville train station.

By Amtrak:

If you can catch Amtrak, you can reach Metro Banjo by train from nearly anywhere in North America. It was planned this way! Metro Banjo is "All Train, All The Time."

Concordia College is less than ten minutes away from multiple Amtrak stations at Yonkers and New Rochelle, NY. The Amtrak Croton-on-Hudson station is a half hour away. Multiple Amtrak Routes serve the Yonkers Station including the Adirondack Route, the Empire Service Route, the Ethan Allen Express Route, and the Maple Leaf Route. New Rochelle is served by the Northeast Regional out of New England. The Lake Shore Limited out of Chicago stops at the Croton-on-Hudson Station. If your route does not stop at Yonkers, New Rochelle, or Croton-on-Hudson, take Amtrak to Pennsylvania Station. From Penn Station, cab it to Grand Central Station or plan on a good 12-block (about a mile) city walk across town. Or, take the 1, 2, or 3 subway train (uptown) to the next station, Times Square. By Bus:

The Westchester County Bee-Line bus #40 stops directly in front of Concordia College. The #40 bus runs north and south on White Plains Road between Mount Vernon and White Plains. Transfers from other lines are available. Or, from NYC, take the #2 subway train to 241st Street. Transfer to Westchester County Bee-Line bus #42 (towards New Rochelle) . Transfer to Bee-Line bus #40 (towards White Plains), the #40 bus stops directly in front of Concordia College. Or, take the #5 train to Dyer Avenue. From the west side of Manhattan:

Take the West Side Highway North to the Henry Hudson Parkway, which becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway. Take exit #4 (Cross County Parkway East) and bear right at the fork in the road. Take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.

From the east side of Manhattan:

Take the FDR Dr./East River Dr. North to exit #18 (Willis Ave. Bridge). Cross the bridge and stay left. At the first light, take the Major Deegan Expressway/Interstate 87 North. At exit #4 (Cross County Parkway East), bear right at the fork in the road. Take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.

From Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens:

Depending on what bridge is flowing, take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway North. If the Throgs Neck is flowing better, take it. From the Throgs Neck, take 295 west to the Hutchinson River parkway north. Once on the "Hutch," follow to exit #13 (Cross County Parkway West). Continue on the Cross County Parkway West to exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.

From points north and Upstate New York:

Here are Two options:
1. Take the Taconic State Parkway South, which becomes the Sprain Brook Parkway. Exit the Sprain Brook Parkway at #11 East (Cross County Parkway West). Heading east, take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.
2. Take the NY State Thruway/Interstate 87 South to exit #4 (Cross County Parkway East). Continue toward the Cross County Parkway East. Take the Cross County Parkway East exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.

From Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and all points south:

Here are Three options:
1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike to the George Washington Bridge. Lower level is best. Once over the bridge take the exit right marked "THRU TRAFFIC." Follow to the Major Deegan Expressway/Interstate 87 North. Take exit #4 (Cross County Parkway East), bear right at the fork in the road. Take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.
2. Follow 95 east to The Bronx River Parkway north. At exit #11 (Cross County Parkway East), bear right at the fork in the road. Take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.
3. From 95, immediately after exiting the George Washington Bridge, take the Henry Hudson Parkway north. This becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway north. At exit #4, take the Cross County Parkway east. Take exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.

From Connecticut:

Here are Two Options:
1. Take the Merritt Parkway to the Hutchinson River Parkway - or - Interstate 95 South to Exit #21/Interstate 287 West toward the Tappan Zee Bridge (first exit in New York). Take exit #9 (Hutchinson River Parkway). Follow the Hutchinson River Parkway South onto the Cross County Parkway West. Take the Cross County Parkway West to exit #8, route 22 north, (North Columbus Avenue). Continue 1.4 miles north (North Columbus Avenue becomes White Plains Road.) College is after the Tanglewylde intersection.
2. Take the south to exit 18 W, Mill Road. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Mill Road and continue 0.7 miles to Route 22/White Plains Road. Turn left onto White Plains Road. The college is located one mile south.

By Plane:

Concerning airports, the closer to Manhattan, the better. LaGuardia is the closest to Concordia (it's about a 45-minute drive depending on traffic). If you fly in to any of the three major airports surrounding NYC, consider taking mass transit (Carey Transportation Buses (718.632.0500) or shuttles) to Grand Central Station. Check schedules before arriving. The subway almost reaches LaGuardia and Kennedy, but not quite. Ground connections are available to the subways. From Kennedy, you'll need to change subways once. The subway from LaGuardia goes to Grand Central. From Newark Airport, NJ Transit trains travel to New York's Pennsylvania Station only. From Penn Station, cab it to Grand Central Station or plan on a good 12-block (about a mile) city walk across town. Or, take the 1, 2, or 3 subway train (uptown) to the next station, Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the subway "S" train "shuttle" to Grand Central Station. Figure 20 minutes to get from Penn Station to Grand Central. Take I-87 north (Major Deegan Expressway.) toward Albany. Take exit 6/Tuckahoe Road east toward Bronxville. At Tuckahoe Road, go east. Travel past the Central Avenue/Route 100 intersection and into Tuckahoe. Where road forks, bear right on to Garrett Road Take first left on Armour Villa Avenue which becomes Lake Avenue Turn right on Main St., cross over train tracks. Main St. becomes Winter Hill Road At top of hill, turn right onto Route 22/White Plains Road The College is approximately 1/4 mile on Route 22. The main campus is on the right.

From Long Island:

Take Clearview Expressway to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Cross bridge and bear right onto I-695 toward I-95 north. After merging onto I-95 north, take exit 16/North Avenue. At end of exit, turn right toward North Avenue. Follow North Avenue for several miles until road forks. Bear left onto Mill Road Continue on Mill Road for 0.7 miles to Route 22/White Plains Road Turn left onto White Plains Road The College is located one mile south. The main campus is on the right.

From all points north and Upstate New York:

Take I-87 South. Cross Tappan Zee Bridge and follow signs for I-87 (Major Deegan Expressway.) Take exit 6E/Tuckahoe Road east toward Bronxville. At Tuckahoe Road, go east. Travel past the Central Avenue/Route 100 intersection and into Tuckahoe. Where road forks, bear right on to Garrett Road Take first left on Armour Villa Avenue which becomes Lake Avenue Turn right on Main St., cross over train tracks. By Ship, Boat, or Tug:

Ports exist along the Connecticut and New York coast. Or, you may locate temporary moorage along the east shore of the Hudson River. Location depends on berth availability and size of craft. Seek ground transportation by cab or limo.
